Highfields Farm is set in peaceful rural surroundings with ample parking - yet only 4 miles from the historical City of Norwich. The old Roman Camp at Caistor St Edmunds lies just one mile away. There are pleasant walks in several directions from our entrance.

The Goldings offer you a friendly welcome, home baked bread and a variety of breakfasts to suit your requirements.

Find us using: Directions from the A11
  • Approaching Norwich on the A11, turn right onto the A47.
  • At the next junction (A140 turn off) take the 4th exit on the roundabout (to Caister St. Edmund).
  • Follow the road for 1 mile and then over a bridge to the crossroads.
  • Go straight across to Upper Stoke.
  • Almost immediately, take the right hand turn to Upper Stoke on a sharp left bend.
  • Go straight on for 1 mile and Highfields Farm is the first property on the left.

The bedrooms are simply furnished and each has a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Highfields Farm is situated on a country lane with sweeping views towards Norwich with its medieval buildings, museums, Millennium library, excellent shopping malls and huge range of restaurants and cinemas


Nearby attractions

The Suffolk Coast is a short drive away. A particular gem is Southwold, with its quaint pier, Adnams brewery, colourful beach huts and fishing harbour. Dunwich and Walberswick are havens for cyclists, walkers, bird watchers and artists.

The Norfolk Coast and the Broads can be reached in under an hour. Its vast stretches of sandy beaches and pretty flint stone villages offer great day outings.
